Black Onyx Stacker Ring with Rope Band by Melanie Bitsi, Navajo

Melanie Bitsi, a Navajo silversmith, created this petite stacker ring featuring a round black onyx cabochon in a simple bezel on a twisted rope-style band. Black onyx creates strong contrast against sterling silver and has been used in Navajo jewelry since the late 19th century. The rope band is a traditional Navajo silversmithing element made from twisted fine-gauge wire. Available exclusively through Turquoise Mustang.
