Sheila Tsosie, a Navajo silversmith, arranged orange spiny oyster and Sonoran Gold turquoise cabochons in a traditional nine-stone cluster layout on this adjustable sterling silver ring. Sonoran Gold turquoise is mined in Sonora, Mexico, recognized by its turquoise-blue with golden pyrite matrix. Spiny oyster (Spondylus) shell has been traded across the Southwest for over a thousand years. The cluster setting groups individually bezeled stones into a cohesive composition.
