Leon Martinez, a Navajo silversmith known for using only natural premium-quality turquoise, set a freeform Pilot Mountain turquoise stone — approximately 3.5cm by 2.5cm — in this hand-stamped overlay cuff with hand-formed peyote burst accents individually soldered around the stone and V-shield details flanking each side. Pilot Mountain turquoise is mined in Mineral County, Nevada, and is prized for its rich blue-green color with golden and chocolate-brown matrix that contains occasional threads of pure silver ore.
