Royston Turquoise Petroglyph Pendant by Alex Sanchez, Navajo
Royston Turquoise Petroglyph Pendant by Alex Sanchez, Navajo
Navajo silversmith Alex Sanchez hand-stamps ancient petroglyph imagery — spirals, dragonflies, and celestial motifs — across the surface of this sterling silver pendant, set with a high-grade Royston turquoise cabochon. Royston turquoise is mined in Lander County, Nevada, and is prized for its rich matrix of deep blue-green against warm brown and gold host rock — among the most collectible turquoise varieties in the American Southwest. Sanchez's overlay and stampwork technique bridges pre-Columbian design traditions with contemporary Navajo silversmithing. Measures approximately 3.75" tall including bail, 0.9" wide, 30 grams. Available exclusively through Turquoise Mustang.
