This vintage 17-inch Navajo bench bead necklace features three freeform Morenci turquoise pendants as stations along the strand. Morenci turquoise comes from the Morenci copper mine in Greenlee County, Arizona, and is among the most prized American turquoise varieties — it is characterized by bright electric-blue color with distinctive iron pyrite matrix that creates a silvery, metallic web pattern found in no other turquoise source.
