All-Silver Concho and Dangling Squash Blossom Earrings, Turquoise Mustang

Turquoise Mustang designed these all-sterling silver earrings combining a concho stud with dangling squash blossom drops. The concho and squash blossom are two of the most foundational forms in Navajo silversmithing — the concho adapted from Spanish colonial bridle silver and the squash blossom from pomegranate motifs, both entering Navajo jewelry in the late 19th century.
