Darryl Gordon, a Navajo silversmith, set a large oval Dry Creek turquoise cabochon at the center of this heavy sterling silver cuff with flanking stampwork and overlay. Dry Creek turquoise comes from the Dry Creek mine in Lander County, Nevada, and is among the rarest American turquoise varieties — it is distinguished by its soft chalky white to pale blue color with little to no matrix, making it immediately recognizable. The mine produces very limited quantities, and genuine Dry Creek turquoise commands strong collector interest. Available exclusively through Turquoise Mustang.
