Turquoise Mustang designed this 30-inch eight-strand torsade necklace of high-grade Mediterranean red coral (Corallium rubrum) tube beads, finished with 14mm stamped sterling silver end caps and 12mm pearl accents. Mediterranean red coral has been used in Navajo jewelry since the 19th century and is among the most prized organic materials in Southwest silversmithing.
