Black Spiderweb Kingman is a rare variety of Kingman turquoise from the Kingman mine in Mohave County, Arizona, distinguished by dense black spider-web matrix patterns that form when manganese oxide infiltrates the host rock — the tighter and more symmetrical the web, the more collectible the stone. Cadman's repoussé work involves hammering silver from the reverse side to create raised surface relief, combined with overlay motifs and deep oxidized stampwork.
